Monki is a brand of the H&M Group. H & M Hennes & Mauritz GBC AB, is the controller and responsible for processing your personal data in the context of Monki affiliate marketing programme in compliance with applicable laws. The controller is throughout this Privacy Notice referred to as “Monki”, “we” or “us”.

Why do we use your personal data?
The overall objective of the Monki Rep affiliate program is to drive traffic and sales to Monki.com.
We collect and use only such personal data that is necessary for us to manage the affiliate programme, including
-to identify the most suitable influencer,
-to link affiliated influencers to contracted marketing collaboration schemes, and
-to reward affiliated influencers according to the agreed remuneration scheme.
How will we use your personal data?
When you sign-up and register as a candidate for Monki Rep collaboration we will ask you to provide information such as name and email address. This information is necessary for us to handle your request. You may also want to add country of residence and your blog/website url. This information will help us match upcoming assignments to your profile.
When you have been selected as a Monki affiliated influencer you will have to provide additional information, such as your gender, preferred merchandising category, social media channel and interests and other preferences. You will also be asked to provide payments related info such as bank account details or similar. This information is necessary for us to create best possible offer to you, to monitor your performance, and to be able to reward and pay you accordingly.
Who have access to your personal data?
Only the Monki brand has access to your personal data. We may however transfer personal data to and through technical suppliers and partners carrying out certain tasks on our behalf, such as Shoppinglinks Pty. www.shoppinglinks.com
We will also transfer personal data to Rakuten Marketing LLC. As an advertising network provider Rakuten manage the affiliate programme, including processing of personal data for this purpose, as an independent data controller in its own right. https://rakutenadvertising.com/

Monki does not pass on, sell or swap your data to any third parties beyond what is stated in this Privacy Notice.
Transfer of personal data to countries outside of the European Economic Area (“EEA”) for which Monki is responsible for is safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European commission.
What is the legal ground for processing your personal data?
The collection and use of your personal data is based on your contract entered into with Monki for Monki Rep collaboration.
How long do we use and keep your personal data?
We will use your personal data as long as necessary for fulfilling our contractual obligations. We ask you to regularly review and update your personal profile. This will ensure that only correct data is used, and obsolete data is deleted.
Once the contract is terminated or expires Monki will erase all personal data, unless we need to keep the data to exercise or defend a legal claim.
